CCA Selection Audition 2011.

What are you supposed to do?
  • Collect your class' namelist from Mr Amir at the start of the day.
  • Follow your class at all times (1 councillor in front & 1 councillor at the back.)
  • Stop all rowdy/unruly behaviour by the students. (Allow them to talk among themselves.)
  • Assist the teacher-in-charge(s) at the respective CCA(s) if they need help.
  • Make sure that every student that wants to go to the toilet URGENTLY informs you. If they are not urgent, ask them to hold till during the break, or after the whole programme. *YOU are accountable for every student in that class.
  • Be on time. 5 minutes before the designated time, gather the students & leave in an orderly fashion.
  • Before leaving, do a quick headcount. (1 councillor can be in charge of the boys & the other in charge of the girls)
  • Before leaving, make sure that the CCA teacher-in-charge at that station returns the name list to you.
  • When moving to the next station, try to take the shortest route to save time. But if there is a human jam there, avoid it.
  • For CCA(s) like Dance, Volleyball & Badminton, make sure that the other gender not involved is seated quitely at a corner.
  • If it's already time & the CCA teacher-in-charge at that station is not done, tell him/her POLITELY that the class has to move on.
  • There might be parents around. Should they approach you, be polite & attend to their needs. (1 councillor is to do that & the other is to carry on moving with the class.)
  • Allow parents to tag along with their child's class should they wish to.
  • If unable to attend to any parents' needs, do contact any of the overall-in-charge(s).
  • After the class has completed all the stations, remember to pass back the name list to Mr Amir before leaving.
  • There would be no briefing. You are allowed to leave once your class has completed every station.
  • During the class' break in-between, bring them to their canteen to have their food & have yours too.
  • If unable to handle any difficult students, please contact any of the overall-in-charge(s) for help.
  • HAVE FUN!
Important points to note:
  • Each station is 40 minutes, inclusive of moving time.
  • Everyone MUST wear a watch on Thursday.
  • Please wear your PE shirt with shorts/skirts & your SC tag. If you have lost your SC tag or do not have it, please contact Jenna by tonight.
  • Have your phone in your pocket at all times to contact any overall-in-charge(s) if you need to.
  • Reporting time: 7.30am at the Quadrangle.

-You are allowed to wear ankle socks but make sure that they are VISIBLE about the shoes that you are wearing.
-If you have dyed/coloured your hair during the holidays, please make sure you dyed it back to black or your original hair colour.

ANNOUCEMENT
Please report in your PE attire/Dark coloured school approved Tee-shirt for Council camp this Thursday. For dragon boating on DAY ONE, please wear your old shoe (it will get wet), NO SLIPPERS OR SANDALS. Bring along sunblock to apply & another pair of shoes to change into after the activity. For high rope courses, please remember to bring along your track/long pants.

November Council Camp's Packing List.

Student Council Camp Packing List 2011.

  • Attire:
- 5 sets of T-shirt (At least 1 dark-coloured)
- 5 sets of shorts (Strictly NO FBT for girls)
- 2 pairs of slacks (For high elements/sleeping)
- 1 track-top/jacket (Optional)
  • Undergarments (Sufficient supply)
  • Socks (Sufficient supply)
  • 1 pair of proper track shoes (For outdoor activities)
- This is not inclusive of the shoe wore when reporting for camp.
  • 1 pair of slippers/sandals.
  • 1 bath towel.
  • Bath soap/shampoo (Sufficient supply)
  • Talcum Power (E.g Prickly Heat)
  • Toothbrush/toothpaste.
  • Personal toilet roll.
  • Insect repellant (Look for the one with DEET)
  • Sun-tan lotion/hat for sun protection (Optional)
  • 1 sleeping bag or thick towel/mat.
  • Personal utensils (Fork, spoon, plastic mug & plate) - COMPULSORY.
- No disposables!
  • Personal Medication (Eg. Inhaler, Panadol)
- Students with history of Asthma are to bring inhaler. COMPULSORY.
  • Plastic bags/ziploc bags for soiled clothings (Sufficient supply)
  • 1 1.5 litre water bottle (To be used throughout the day)
  • Small torchlight (Optional)
  • Writing materials (Eg. Pens, small notebooks) - Sufficient supply.
  • Spare spectacles & spectacle band for securing spectacle (If neccessary)
  • Handphones (To contact your parents/guradians)
- Missing handphones would not be accountable for.

Please do not bring:
  • Expensive items (Eg. PSP/MP3/Jewellery/excessive cash)
  • Unneccessary items such as pillows/bolsters.
Pack your clothings into plastic/ziplock bags for convenient purposes.
Just bring sufficient amount of cash.
Do not bring such a heavy bagpack.

Duty list for Lower Sec Interhouse Games (18th October)

Duty List for Interhouse Games. 
Tuesday, 18th November 
8.55 am – 10.40am.  

  1. Logistics. 
  • At 6am, all Sec 2 Councillors are to report at school for a briefing & set up the different playing areas. For areas used for assembly on Tuesday (ISH ), do not set up the playing area.  
  • Go into the PE Store & put all necessary equipments at the entrance of the door. 
  • At 8.55am, Councillors to go into the PE Store & get the various equipments for the games.  
  • Set up tables & chairs at the different playing areas. 
I/C for Logistics: Shermaine Tan (Faith 2-3) 
2nd I/C for Logistics: Leong Mun Yi (Faith 2-4) 

  1. Referees. 
  • Start the game of by Scissors, Paper, and Stone by the leaders of each team. 
  • End the game when time goes out (Referees are to carry a stopwatch & watch out for the time) 
  • Look out for fouls & dangerous play. 
  • Brief players on the rules of the game before it. 
  • Blow the whistle whenever a point is scored.
